This months challenge at
Scrapbook Boutique is to use red, black and white. Well, I thought that called for something rather dramatic, so I decided to use this great medallion stamp from JustRite Papercrafts Botanical Medallions & Banners stamp set. I started with Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!) and layered on paper from a Cre8tiv 6 v 6 mini stack. I stamped the medallion image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto blending card, coloured it with copics, die cut it with a Nested Oval Medallion Labels Custom Die, then adhered it to the background. Then I stamped the flower image (from the same set) with the same ink onto blending card, coloured it with copics, die cut it with a Spellbinders Classic Ovals die and added it to the medallion piece with foam tape. I stamped the banner with Memento ink onto blending card, coloured it with copics, cut it out with scissors and added it to the background with foam tape. Finally, I added the ribbons and pearls.
Copic Colours used were: R22, R24, R27, R89, YG63, YG67.
