Girlfriends

 

 

The challenge this week at A.R.T. is to use Ribbons and Pearls.  Well, since these are probably my favourite embellishments, this was a really easy one!  I started this card with black cardstock and layered on two papers from a Cre8tiv mini stack paper pad.  Then I covered the join with a wide pink satin ribbon and added a black pleated satin ribbon over the top.  I stamped one of the gorgeous girls from Flourishes Glamour Girls stamp set with Memento ink onto blending card, coloured her with copics, and die cut it with a Spellbinders Labels 20.  I flicked some pink colour in from the edges and layered the image piece onto black cardstock and then added it to the background with foam tape.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was stamped with black ink onto white card, layered onto black card and tucked partly under the image piece.  Three black pearls at both right hand corners and it was finished!

Copic Colours used were:  E000, E01, E51, Y21, E31, RV52, RV55, C3, C5, C7.
