Christmas Whimsy

The October Release Challenge over at Flourishes is for a Christmas card with NO red or green.  Well, being a traditional kind of girl, this was a bit of a challenge for me!  However, my dear friend, Kaye, has very recently given me a 12" x 12" paper pad called Whimsical Christmas Basics by Francheville, so the background papers were an easy choice.  I layered them onto pink cardstock and covered the join with lilac cardstock which had been punched out with Martha Stewart's doily lace punch.  Then I die cut pink cardstock with a Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles die and added this to the background.  I stamped the boot from Flourishes Dear Santa stamp set with Memento ink onto blending card, coloured it with copics, added some clear Spica to the buckle, cut it out and added it with foam tape.  The sentiment is also from the Dear Santa set.  Then I added some bling with rhinestone stars.  A pink ribbon and a bow and it was finished!

Copic Colours used were:  BG32, BG45, BG49, B000, BV01, BV02, BV04, RV52, RV55, RV66, Y00, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9.

Thanks for coming to visit!
