Vintage Magnolias
This card is for this weeks Timeless Tuesday challenge which calls for a vintage card. I thought this beautiful image from Flourishes Magnolias set would be perfect for this type of card, so I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-press It blending card, coloured it with copics and cut it out. The background paper is from Kaisercrafts Sweet Nothings 6 x 6 paper pad. I found the dusty pink lace in my bag of various lace pieces, added that to the background plus a paper doiley (after cutting a slice off one side) and covered the edges with cream satin ribbon and a bow. Finally I popped up the stamped and cut out image on top of the doiley with foam tape.........and that's my version of a vintage card!
Copic colours used were: R000, R01, R02, G40, G43, G46.

Birthday Barrow
I made this card for a friend who is both a dog lover and gardener, so I thought this cute image from the Summer Afternoon set (Stampin' Up!) would be perfect for her. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It blending card and die cut it with Spellbinders Floral Oval......a favourite of mine! Coloured with copics and layered it onto a blue oval. The papers are from a 12 x 12 paper pack called "Garden" from Crafters Choice, and I have used two strips of white card punched with Martha Stewart's Doiley Lace punch to create the lacey centre. Added a strip of blue and a notched tag stamped with the sentiment from Birthday Whimsy stamp set (also Stampin' Up!) and I had a pretty birthday card for my friend.
Copic colours used were: B00, B02, E30, E31, E33, E11, E13, YG11, YG13, Y11, Y15, RV02, BV00, C3, C5

Bloom!
This weeks Timeless Tuesday challenge No. 204 calls for a circle, a fishtail and pearls. I started with dark blue cardstock and layered on some yellow spot paper from Double Dot Designs DSP (BoBunny). Then I cut three different size Spellbinders Standard Circles out of dark blue card plus a Lacey Circle out of white card. I made a large "fishtail" out of white card and layered it onto dark blue card, adhered this to the card front and added the largest blue circle then the lacey circle. I stamped the image from Flourishes April Showers stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with copics. I then cut this with the second largest circle and glued the dark blue frame on top then used foam tape to stick this to the middle of the lacey circle. I used Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags Two for the sentiment and backed this with white card. Added all the pearls and it was finished!
Copic colours used were: B21, B24, B26, YG11, YG13, YG17, Y11, Y15, Y17.

Glad We're Friends
I made this card for this week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge which actually asks participants to use colours from their Color Made Easy Collections. Unfortunately, these are not available here in Australia so I have used paper and card in colours as close as I could find! I started with paper from Kaisercraft's Secret Admirer paper pad and layered it onto aqua card. Then I die cut brown card with Spellbinders largest Floral Doily Motif and adhered on top of that a die cut circle of Stampin' Up! Regal Rose card, sliced off part of one side and adhered it to my card front. Next, I stamped a sentiment from Flourishes Botanical Bookplates Vol 2 onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copic E50, layered it onto aqua card and adhered it to the bottom right side. Then I cut a strip of aqua paper, layered it onto brown card and stuck it to the left side. Lastly, I stamped the image from the same stamp set, coloured it with copics, die cut it with Flourishes Classic Bookplate Template Die (which I found under my Christmas Tree!), popped it up with foam tape, added some Kaisercraft Hot Pink pearls and I was finished!
Copic Colours used were: BG11, BG13, R81, R83, R85, YG00, YG03, E27, E50, Y11, Y15

White Lillies
This card is for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge number 202 which is to use something NEW! Well, my DD gave me, among other goodies, Flourishes Calla Lillies stamp set and this the first card I have made with my new set. I stamped the main image onto X-press It Blending card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die cut it with Spellbinders labels 5 then coloured with copic markers. I also used a small labels 5 for the sentiment and the rest was easy. I used Couture Creations Intrinsic Embossing Folder (one of my favourites) a piece of silver and organza ribbon and white pearls, layering the white pieces onto blue cardstock. This card could be used for a sympathy card, a get well card, or for various other purposes.
Copic colours used were: G20, Y11, Y15, Y17, C1, G40, G43, G46 and B0000 for the "glow"

Roses with Love
I made this card for Flourishes Release Week challenge which is all about LOVE! I decided that pink roses were perfect for this theme so I stamped these great roses from Flourishes Calendar Set 2, added the sentiments ( with Stampin' Up Real Red ink ) from Flourishes Tag Lines, coloured with copics, die cut with Spellbinders Labels 20 and layered onto Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!). The paper is from a Cre8tiv 8 x 8 paper pad, which is layered onto some more red cardstock. I added a silver and organza ribbon and topped that with some red ribbon, added a rinestone flourish, attached the image with foam tape and it was done!
Copic colours used were: RV52, RV63, RV66, YG63, YG67.

For the Cook
This card is for this week's Timeless Tuesday challenge which is a kind of a DIY challenge to use a favourite challenge from 2012 and redo it. I chose FTTC192 which was for a birthday card. I know......too easy, but it's still holiday time and easy is what I'm doing right now!
I used Flourishes Mix 'n' Mugs set for the image which I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with copics. Then I die cut it with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. The papers are from a My Mind's Eye paper pad called On the Sunny Side and papers are layered onto Real Red Cardstock (Stampin' Up!). The sentiment is from a now retired JustRite set called Birthday Sentiments Set which I really like because it is so useful! The sentiment is stamped with Real Red (SU) ink and punched out with a circle punch and layered onto the red cardstock cut with Nestabilities Classic Circles. Put the whole thing together, foam tape under the image, and that was it!
Copic colours used were: BG10, BG11, BG13, R22, R24, Y21, Y26, E30, E31, G40, G43.

Quilter's Birthday
My friend Shirley is having a birthday and I thought the perfect image for her card would be from Flourishes Stitched for You stamp set I stamped the image onto X-press it Blending Card and die cut it with Spellbinders Floral Ovals. After colouring with copics I glued this to red cardstock die cut with a Spellbinders Classic Oval. I chose the background paper from Kaisercraft's Fine and Sunny DSP 6 x 6 paper pad because I thought it looked like a patchwork quilt, layered this onto red cardstock, cut a piece of yellow chevron paper and layered this also onto red cardstock and attached over the background. The sentiment is from Flourishes Sweet Violets set and was stamped in red ink onto white cardstock. I added the white lace and "tape measure" ribbon, then added the stamped image with foam tape.
The Copic Colours I used were: R22, R24, R27, R89, G24, G28, C1, YG61, YG63, Y21, Y26, RV52, RV 63, RV66, V22, V25, V28, BG11, BG13.
