Timeless Tuesday this week is to use dry embossing. Well, that's easy! (The trick was to decide which of my four dozen plus embossing folders to use - Ha!) I needed to make a wedding card, so I went with a white background. I punched the side of a piece of white cardstock with a Martha Stewart border punch, then embossed the rest with a Couture Creations EF called Exotic (a favourite), then I layered that onto pale blue cardstock and wrapped pale blue satin ribbon around it just above the border. Next, I stamped the sentiment - from Flourishes Wedded Bliss set - with Memento Paris Dusk ink onto white card, die cut (and embossed!) it with a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares die, layered it onto pale blue cardstock and added it to the background. Then I stamped the image - from Flourishes Magnolias stamp set - with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto blending card, coloured it with copics, cut it into a rectangle, layered it onto pale blue cardstock, and added it with foam tape. A bow and some pearls in a couple of corners and it was finished!
Copic Colours used were: B0000, B000, G24, G82, G85.
Thanks for coming to visit!
