Spooky

The challenge this month at Scrapbook Boutique is to use purple, orange and black with a Halloween theme.  Well, at first, I was at a bit of a loss - Halloween is definitely NOT my thing!  Then I remembered that my DD had inadvertently included a Halloween stamp set with a parcel of stamps that she sent to "holiday" at my house!  It is a retired set from JustRite Stampers called Trick or Treat.  Okay, that was the image sorted, but what about the layout??  (I think my mojo went into the operating theatre with my DH last week and hasn't yet returned!)  TahDah!  The very talented Allison Cope came to the rescue with this weeks Sketch Challenge at Split Coast Stampers (Thanks, Ally!)
So, I used some papers from my stash, some black and orange cardstock, plus a Couture Creations embossing folder and created the background.  Then I stamped the pumpkin in the witch's hat image with Memento ink onto blending card, coloured it with copics, die cut it with a Spellbinders Classic Oval die, layered it onto a black oval and added it to the background with foam tape.  The sentiment was hand printed.

Copic Colours used were: C3, C5, C7, C9, BV00, BV02, BV04, YR02, YR04, YR07, YG13, YG17.

Thanks so much for coming to visit!
