Seeing Red

The last challenge for Power Poppy this month is a Sketch.  OOOooooo  I love a sketch challenge!  I seem to have been in a "red mood" lately, so I chose my background papers from the Playdate paper pad by My Mind's Eye and layered all three pieces onto red cardstock.  Next, I die cut more red cardstock with a Spellbinders Labels 20 die and embossed it with a Cuttlebug EF.  Then I die cut white cardstock with a Spellbinders Classic Oval, embossed it and sponged on pale blue ink.  I chose for this one the wonderful Peonies from this months Power Poppy release, coloured them with copics, cut them out, and popped them on top of the oval with foam tape.  I decided on two white flower brads for that element of the sketch and finished with some red bling.  Many thanks to the Bloom Brigade at Power Poppy for the challenges this month - it's been fun, and I hope there are many more to come.

Copic Colours used were:  R00, R22, R24, R27, R89, G40, G43, G46.

Thanks for coming to visit!
