So Glad!

I'm so glad to say that Power Poppy have launched their very first challenge, "Pop Goes the World" with a lovely photo incorporating purple, orange, yellow and green for inspiration, and using one of the new digital stamps.  I decided to use papers from  the Lilac Avenue Collection paper pad by Kaisercraft, layered onto lilac cardstock, and with the horizontal piece punched with Martha Stewart's doily lace punch.  I chose to use the gorgeous Gladioli set, coloured it with copics, sponged on some Versacolor Orange and Canary ink, and die cut it with a Spellbinders Standard Circle die.  I die cut green cardstock with a Spellbinders Scallop Circle die and lilac cardstock with the largest Spellbinders Exquisite Circle, layered them all together and added this piece with foam tape.  I printed the sentiment into a small circle, punched it out with a circle punch and layered it onto lilac cardstock.  A lilac ribbon and bow finished it off.

Copic Colours used were:  V04, V12, V15, Y11, YG11, YG13, YG17.

Thanks so much for coming to visit!

  2. I love that you used the glads! I hadn't realized how perfectly this image fit into a circle, but now I'm inspired to give that a try next time. What a pretty scalloped mat and papers you used, too. You did a wonderful job mixing the three colors you chose for the challenge. I'm so glad you could play with us at Power Poppy, and I look forward to seeing more from you in the upcoming challenges!
