Power Poppy takes us to the Italian Riviera. I immediately thought...........Geraniums!! The inspiration picture features turquoise, rusty red, buttery yellow and grassy green. I chose my background papers from Prima's Zephyr collection paper pad and layered them onto turquoise cardstock, punching along one side of the vertical piece with a Martha Stewart border punch. I wrapped some satin edged organza ribbon plus some rusty red seam binding around the bottom of the card front and added a bow. The Power Poppy Geraniums were printed onto blending card, coloured with copics and die cut with a Spellbinders Marvelous Squares die. I die cut some rusty red cardstock with the next size Marvelous Square die, added it to the card front and popped the image piece on top with foam tape. I have to say these are not my usual colours, but I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out.
Copic Colours used were: R22, R24, R27, YG95, YG97, E11, E13.
